Welcome to the first animated interpretation of the Tall Ships Village. This model is designed to explain how the largest A Class ships will be berthed and how land will be used to create a platform for the whole occasion in the Tall Ships Village.

The site is zoned into three distinct areas:

• The Fire Zone – this area incorporates the majority of the thrilling entertainment programme
• The Earth Zone – dedicated to all things green and sustainable
• The Wind Zone – the zone dedicated to all things nautical, including the ships!

Please note that that this model does not show the berthing arrangements for Class B, C and D ships which will be berthed in the adjoining Hartlepool Marina.

Also, the marquees and other buildings in the model are represented at 150% of their true size for clarity. The Ships however are true to scale.
